Hmmm...I was noticing my blog falling a tad behind, but that's only because nothing terribly interesting has been happening recently. I know that I should be having wild parties every night seeing as mum and dad are gone, but I guess I'm just too darn sensible, and know that I would be crucified if anything got broken, so I think not. I will do all my partying in Europe where I will not have to worry about things being crushed by drunken party go'ers.
Just talked to Dad on the phone from down in Yuma. Apparently, because my cousin is Mormon, and we are not, we and almost everyone else in the whole entire family isn't invited to the actual ceremony! How messed up is that? Imagine sending out wedding invitations, but, umm...without the wedding part! Its like saying "Hey, I'm having this great party, and you're invited to the cleanup afterwards!" Like, hey, that sounds like fun eh!? I must just not understand the thinking behind it. Why go to all the trouble of having your one and (hopefully) only wedding, and not get to invite your friends and family to it? No matter what religion! Its supposed to be your freakin day after all. I'm sure Viki will agree with me on this.
Anyways, enough rants for one day. I'm sure there will be more later.

One of my new favorite shows is This Hour Has 22 Minutes. I especially likes the segments where they make fun of current news stories. I didn't used to, but now that I've been following current events more, and know just how incompetent most politicians are, I find it very amusing. To any of you who don't know what I'm talking about, then you must not be Canadian! SHAME! My favourite on the show was Rick Mercer, but he left to do other things, all of which were very good. :)
I got Crest white strips from Walmart yesterday, they taste really icky, and make it so you can't talk properly. I put them on, and immediately thought of the commercial with the highly attractive women driving to work, on a date, whatever they were doing at the time. They're all saving "I'm doing it now" with nice big bright smiles. I THINK NOT! I was muffling around with these gummy things on my teeth thinking "I better look as good as the women in the commercials after this is done." I will update on the results as time goes on.

Ok, so after thinking I fixed the car by putting in more of the Power Steering Fluid stuff, I then noticed large puddles of it under the car. NOT GOOD! So I decided to phone up Phil, my local mechanic, and took it around today after work. Unfortunately he then came back and told me that it wasn't the line but the actual pump, and that it would be $600 - $1000 to fix! When I came to I said thanks but no thanks, I'll just drive it around without the fancy new expensive pump and try not to kill myself with the diminished steering capacity.
Being on my own is going very well so far. I seem to have surprised myself in being able to live on my own and not freak out at nights. :) I'm not quite sure why I used to, but I seem to be much more capable at it now. Yay! :)
More updates on car and other annoyances when they become available.

Ok! Apparently I did something very bad in a past life! Two days (yes count them TWO!) after my parents leave, my car starts making horrific noises!! This couldn't have happened before they left or right before I leave for my trip, ooh no, it has to happen RIGHT NOW!! So, I have been little Ms.FixIt today with the help of Craigory and Mickster over the phone. We are currently hoping its the power steering fluid that has gotten low, and not anything majorly broken. Because then I would have to pay for it, and that it total BS!!!! Now my hands are all greasy and oily, and I still have not found any steering fluid, so I am grumpy grumpersons! I will write an update on the Car Horror Movie Vol II when I have more information.

Mum and Dad left on their trip today, and hopefully they will be finding the appropriate tow bar thingy for the Echo that they are currently lacking. They are supposed to be meeting some guy in Watertown or wherever to get it installed. On a side note aswell, Cheryly-Dean moved in with me today. :D We shall have a fun time living together, as we always do.
It was a really nice day here today! Warm and sunny, and things are slowly starting to green up around here!!
Also, Bob Barker is in the lead for jesus replacement!

Today is Easter. Apparently this is the one holiday to celebrate if you are the least bit religious. So not surprisingly, we enjoy the day off, eat disgusting amounts of trans and mono saturated fats it would make most people of any 3rd world country die on the spot, but thankfully we don't even set foot near a church. This is the way all religious holidays should be spent. More people would probably call themselves people of faith if they were that much fun. Not having to listen to some bloated old fart talk about some guy who died two thousand years ago! In two thousand years, have we not found another person who's at least as cool as Jesus was, maybe even a tad bit cooler? I now think that we should be nominating a new leader of the Catholic and Christian religions. True, there would be many paintings that we would have to paste a new head on to, but who wouldn't rather see someone a little different in these changing times to worship? I will field all nominations on this topic, and we'll see who is the most popular person to take over the job. Let the voting begin!

I agree with you totally Vik, nobody should put that on a baby shower invitation, ever! (If anyone is confused, please read Viki's blog entry for today) And on a side note, what kind of parks do you go to that random strangers offer your drugs while you're walking your dog??? You need to move back home, and fast. I miss my quoting partner!
Speaking of movie quoting, I saw an ad for Pop culture trivia DVD something or other. It looked like great fun, and I now want it, Although I don't even want to know how much it will be. Those types of games are usually horrible expensive and usually cost three goats and a virgin, or something.
I have been doing lots of henna recently. I find it very entertaining. Body artish without the pain or finality of tattoos. :) I will take pictures of some of them and put them up on my pics page at some point. But, seeing as my one hand is henna'd and I can only type with one had, I shall end this here. It takes too long to type one handedly.

Today was the first sunny day in what feels like weeks. For the entire month of April it has been either raining snowing or the combination of the two. Its sunny, a robin eggs blue colour, with nice puffy white clouds and I am enjoying the extra brightness for a change. I even opened my blinds today! This is a rare occasion as Viki I'm sure will know. But unfortunatly, in opening them, allll the crap that has been laying around my room has now suddendly jumped out screaming "CLEAN ME! CLEAN ME!" So I think today will be a day of much cleaning and mumbling profanities at my rat packing habits. I will report on how it is going later. If I pass the 20 minute mark we shall be doing quite well indeed.

Its so easy to fall behind on my blogging. Mostly because my life is horribly horribly dull! make that Dull with a capitol D! Mum and Dad are starting to get the RV ready for their trip soon. They are sadly thinking about taking the mazda along with them, so I won't be able to bomb around town in it. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't trust me with it!!! ;)
Right, its bed time now, I'm too tired to write any more. I shall put more on tomorrow.
