Ok, I have been a little slack in my postings of late. I figured, a little one about nothing would be better than none. I have actually been a little sick for most of the week which has kinda sucked. Just basically sat around the house and watched bad daytime telly. It seems no matter how far you travel, the tv during the day is always shit!
Dave had his beach vollyball match tonight which I went along to watch. They were doing much better, and only lost by a very small margin, and I think the other team cheats. ;)
Well, apparntly we're off to go watch my first game of cricket tomorrow, should be good fun! Plus I'm going to lunch with Daves parents too. (Just me and the folks, Dave will be at work) just alittle on the scary side. ;)

This weekend has been good fun!
Saturday, Dave Marty and me went to Scarb beach in the early afternoon. Some decent waves and I actually played around in them more than I had before. The water was a little chilly, but once you were in it for a minute or two you got used to it.
So, up the next morning around 9:30, showered and started to get things ready for our picnic. I made fruit salad, and the boys got all the other food stuffs together and ready to go. Left about 12:3 or so, picked up Nes, and headed off to the Swan Valley. It's actually surprisingly close to Perth itself, and really pretty. The landscape was more rural Australian, and it was very nice. A little stream, which we hiked around a bit after our picnic lunch, and I got a couple good photos. Wandered back to the picnic area, had dessert, then headed off for our brewery tasting tour around the Swan Valley. Went to a few different places and tried quite a few beers, went to a chocolate facotory, and had a handful or two of free choco smaples which were very yummy. Then more beers. My favourite was the last place we went to, lots of character. After dinner, we headed off and played some pool. Thankfully we were all pretty bad, which made for some interesting games.
Now I'm off to the beach again! What a life huh? ;)
