Ahh, the last couple days have been nice. Yesterday was great fun in particular. Pam, Dave, Mitch and myself all went up to the Picton sandbanks for a day at the beach. After we all assembled at Mitchs we then stopped at IGA to get some food supplies and the like, then made the very scenic drive up to Picton. I'd never been there before, or at least not since I can remember, and very much enjoyed it. Perfect time of year, good friends, good times, all added up to a wonderful day. The water there was really really warm, and you could wade out really far and still be only up to your waist or so. We had good fun jumping into the oncoming waves and other wave related activities, none of which I was any good at. Made me question just how decent a swimmer I'll be in Australia, but we'll soon find out now won't we?
We're going to fire my kiln tomorrow, so I shall have fresh pottery in my hot little hands by day after tomorrow! How exciting. I shall take pictures of the final products once their all said and done with.
Bed for me now though.

Let me see, I've been up to a few things since I posted on here. I bought my plane ticket to Australia last week. Makes the whole thing seem much more real. I have a whole days layover in Hong Kong, so I've looked up a few interesting sounding tours to do instead of just sitting in the airport for 12 or however many hours. Plus that way I'll get a Chinese stamp in my passport, double cool.
A few weeks ago, I had done something bad to my knee, either torn, or pulled a ligament in the back, and was waiting to see what needed to be done to it, and just got a call from my doctors, saying my knee didn't need surgery (yaaay!). Now I've gotten back to doing my tennis and things which I'm happy to get back to. Its been so hot here recently that we've mostly juse been getting in the pool. but its nice to have some hot weather.
Dad and me are experimanting with making cheese. The first attempt didn't go so well. Yuky smelling semi chunky milk wasn't what we were aiming for. But this time it actually worked, so we're impressed with ourselves. Next its on to more difficult cheese!
But, I need to get ready for work, I just wanted to put up a quick post so I didn't get too far
behind.
