Well, I guess I learned my lesson. Never will I complain about how boring it is around here again. I think I'll have to think twice about heading down to AJ's from now on...

Link to story in the Whig

Thankfully I just heard on the news the guy who did the stabbing just turned himself into police. Stupid people these days doing stupid things. Apparently this was the second stabbing at AJ's this month! The other person who got stabbed thankfully lived, but I had no idea that Kingston was such a violent place! I think I'll be happy to get out of here and keep travelling.

Things around here have been fairly uneventful, thus the slight lack of postings.
I've been working a lot at the leather place, which has been good cause I just got paid. Yay, more money for my trip!
But really people... theres nothing worthy of posting at this point. Just thought I'd do a quick note to let evryone know I was still alive.
Once there has been big events, I will be sure to put a good posting up.

Oh goodness me. St.Patricks Day drunkenness!! So drunk infact that when I got home I attempted one of my infamous drunken emails, and was too drunk to type!! Now that ladies and gentlemen, is highly impressive. I shall start back at the beginning and recap the evening.
The gang assembled at Brenna's house beforehand, and we all got straight to the drinking and merryment. Met a few new faces, including Brenna's dog who seemed to have issues with me for some reason. Had some much too strong screwdrivers, and around midnight we all pile into some cabs and head downtown to Bens Pub. We cheerfully discover that a beer rep is there and handing out free Keiths!! Things were looking up! So after a few rounds of free beer, we then all stumble down to the Brew Pub for yet more beer and general roudyness. Somewhere around this time its somebody's great idea to do tequila shots, and being the person I am, I can't refuse! (But really, who could? Its tequila afterlife!) Mitch took some very interesting snaps of us doing out shots. (I'll be sure to add them later once I'm less hungover and feeling more energetic.) By that point in the night the bars were all closing down, so I hailed myself a cab and came on home. The room spinny-ness was a little unsettling, but soon passed right out to sleep. ;) The End of fun St.Pattys Day 2005.

Right now I'm in the process of colouring my hair. The last shade I had done, which I had enjoyed very much, was starting to get a bit tired looking. But alas, when I went to go to the store to but it again, it had been dicontinued!! I found one that looked fairly similar, so we shall see how it turns out. I will put some pics up to show ya'll if and how it turns out. I gotta go wash it out soon, so more blogging later.

Whoo, what a night last night. Here begins the DRAMA of the evening.
I met up with Pam, Jen, and Dave at Pams house, and we then cabbed it down to a friends house of Jen and Alex (who are a couple by the way). We drink some more there, then head up to AJ's for some more drinking and dancing. At this point, Alex and a few friends of his went to The Grizzly (another bar) next store, and we were to meet up with them at AJ's later on in the night. Well, 2:45 rolls around, and no sign of Alex or Rob. So we all head over to The Grizzly to see if they're still there, so Jen can get her money and go to bed. (She moved to T.O. and Alex was holding onto her money for her earlier in the night) After no signs of either of them at the bar Jen starts to get a tad upset, (which in my opinion is quite understandable), we wander on down to MyBar (yet another bar on the strip). We eventually go to the place she and Alex were going to be sleeping for the night, where all the guys who originally went with him to The Grizzly all were, except for Alex and Rob. So there we are, Pam, Dave, Jen and I sitting in the stairwell of the place she was supposed to be staying at waiting for them to arrive. Alex also had the keys to their car, but Jen being very fed up with Alex's said behavior decides to call CAA and have them open her car for her so she can drive home. Once this is done, I being the most sober one and the only one able to drive a standard, drive Pam and Dave home, then drop myself off, and Jen by that time being sober as well, then drives herself off to destination unknown, as Alex never showed. (She was supposed to stay with him). I didn't get home til after 4 and slept in today til nearly 2:30. Oops. :) I should call Pam and see what eventually happened. This is a long enough post as it is right now, I'll give follow ups next time round. Oh yeah, pics from The Golden Dogs will be up soon. I've been lazy.

Just got home from a very interesting concert at the Elixir. The band was The Golden Dogs and I don't think that I would do a very good job in describing what they were like, but I shall try. They were mostly punky, with a little... what the French would say... I don't know what. But what made them really fun to see live was the actual people in the band. All of them seemed to love performing and their energy on stage was at 2000%! I have never seen such a great live performancee in my life, and that says a lot. I got a couple shots of them going nuts, so I'll download those tomorrow maybe before work if I'm in the mood. Its too late for me to bother with it now. Hang on for those, they're worth the wait. :)

Geesh today seemed like a busy day. After getting my ass kicked by Shane (my trainer) in the morning me and Dad headed over to the hospital to pick up Nanna. She had gotten an (excuse the spelling) angiography to make sure all heart valves were working properly (Yay, she is apparently doing well). Then we took her back to her place cause she was still pretty groggy from all the meds she was on. We hung out at her place for awhile, then Uncle Tom and Kit came and took over. Dad and I then went off to do some shopping that had to be done. Went to Rona where we got Dad a new electric drill, as the one we have currently I'm stealing to use as the motor in my pottery wheel.
We met Mum at work and decided to go out to Wooden Heads for pizza (very yummy) and then came home to veg. Doesn't sound like much on here, but kept us busy for most of the day.
I work tomorrow at Bagot Leather from 12 - 5:30, which will hopefully go well. (i.e. the annoying owners won't be hanging around. ) Hopefully before then I'll get a chance to drop off a couple resumes to a few different places as well.

I was having fun reading old posts of mine on here, and what do you think I find? That today is the one year anniversary of me starting my blog! Well that sounds like an excuse for some sort of celebration. Maybe I'll go make myself a nice big Strawberry smoothie. I make the best ones ever and I've been having a craving for them anyways, so its a good excuse. :)
On the work front I'm finally noticing some more demand for local bartenders which is good. I'll probably drop off one at the General Wolfe. (For any Kingstonians reading this they'll get why this is funny) Bagot Leather has been rather aggravating lately for scheduling. I had two shifts this week, and both got cancelled for one reason or another. Thus why I'm looking for other sources of employment. Plus the owners are these annoying old people who's only joy out of life these days is bossing around the staff and just being generally a pain in the ass.
Viki might be coming up for Easter which should be great fun. I miss my Micket and we will have fun galavanting around the house once again. Then we can convince her to move back home! (Yes I know you'll read this before then, but I still get to try in person! ;)
Ok, those smoothies are calling my name.

Here's some photo's from when Jess, Byron, Blair and I (and a couple other people who's name I've forgotten) went out and ended up at the Elixir.

Dave's birthday was the next afternoon and I was really hungover. Spent most of the time in a nice big comfy chair attempting to be perky, but I don't think I did very well. Ah well. It was good times. Dave beat the shit out of a pinyata which was fun to watch, and he even nailed Derek in the forehead with a flying tootsie roll.
More pics later once I get the ambition. ....and I'm spent!

Well, the theme of this month would definitely have go to go friends! Been having a busy month of seeing all my posse which seems to be happening on a nightly basis. Its been great, I missed all my buds when I was gone, so having a good time drinking the pubs around town dry. I do think its possible to add pictures on here, so once I get some sent to me I will be most diligent to put some up.
In other far less eventful news I'm working part-time at Bagot Leather Goods downtown. Which is handy as its a hell of a lot closer then storage used to be and the people I work with all seem to be nice so far. Still looking for a bartending job to make some extra cash, hopefully with Spring on its way things will start to pick up with the tourist crowds.
